Academy-planned trips

The Academy periodically sponsors one day and overnight trips to enhance the educational experience of its members.

One of the trips scheduled for Fall 2008 is a return trip to the Library of Congress, October 10, 2008.

Sign-up sheets and additional information are on the bulletin board outside the Academy office. Questions about travel may be directed to Richard Sciorra, Travel committee chair; or to committee co-chair, Mary Folan; or to the Academy office at 302/645-4111.

TraveLearn

TraveLearn offers trips with adult university groups to exciting destinations planned on a “classroom in the field” basis, with in-country faculty lectures providing an emphasis on learning, not just touring.
