credit courses
Auditing a University course
Academy
members may audit University courses on a space-available
basis. Members will be notified by the University the
week before classes begin if space is available. Members
who join for the full year may audit up to two University
courses (credit or noncredit during the fall and spring
semesters), taken either in the same or in separate
semesters. Those joining the Academy for one semester
may audit one University course. Registration forms
are available in the Academy Office.
All
relevant fees and incremental charges will apply. Members
may participate in University travel/study programs,
but must pay the full fee.
- Requests
to audit fall classes must be fully completed, signed,
and returned to the Academy Office by September
12, 2008.
- University
classes begin September 3, 2008, at 8:00 a.m.
UD Over-60 Tuition Free Degree Program
The
University of Delaware provides for Delaware residents
60 years of age or older to enroll in degree-granting
programs at no charge. Further information is available
in the Academy office, or visit the Over-60

Master of Arts in Liberal Studies
Courses
leading to the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies are
available for those who wish to matriculate and who
seek the intellectual challenge and the rigor of graduate
work. M.A.L.S. courses may not be audited, and the Academy
tuition benefit may not be used. Information is available
in the Academy office, or you may visit the M.A.L.S.
program online.
