Special Events Period

The period from 12:45 to 1:45 on Wednesdays is reserved for scheduling special events which will include performances by the Academy Chorus and the Academy Concert Band as well as other events.

Art Exhibits

Art exhibits by Academy members and students are periodically scheduled in Arsht Hall throughout the year. See bulletin boards and postings for information.

Academy Trips

Class trips planned and conducted by the Travel Class or by instructors of other classes are open first to class members and, if there is space, to other Academy members. All trips taken through the Academy must be planned and coordinated with the Travel Committee and the Academy office. Please plan to pay for trips by check. Requests for disability accommodations need to be made at least 65 days in advance by calling 302/573-4447.

Social Events

Luncheons, social hours, and other celebrations that include food and entertainment are scheduled throughout the year.

Outreach Program

Through the Academy of Lifelong Learning's Outreach Program, presentations are given by Academy members at locations in our community.
