The discovery of the structure of DNA is regarded as
the most significant advance in biology and medicine
of the 20th century. The scientists who brought this
about were interesting and gifted human beings. This
series of lectures will emphasize the individual contributions
of these scientists to the understanding of the hereditary
substances which influence and control our existence
