Introduction to guidelines, techniques, and resources for tracing ancestral roots, based upon research in the U.S., British Isles, and Hungary. Research strategies are discussed as related to the specific interests of class members. Limited to 45 students. (666)

TRAVEL ADVENTURES*

"Travel Adventures" (formerly "Travel with Us") is an eight-week course designed to enhance students' knowledge of worldwide opportunities for travel. Class may be extended for five additional weeks if there are enough presenters. (143)

WOMEN TALKING*

Instructor: Ellen Strober
A course by women, about women, designed for women. A panel of Academy women representing diverse backgrounds, life experiences, and points of view catalyze class discussions on a variety of topics chosen by the class. No new students will be admitted after the second week of class. Limited to 50 students. (144)

WINE APPRECIATION*

Thursday: 2:00 p.m.–3:15 p.m.
Instructor: Robert Miller
An introduction into the world of wine. A look at the major wine-producing regions of the world. Two outside trips to explore the affinity of food and wine. Limited to 60 students. (145)
